Mar 2004 07:03 Changes in vBulletin.org Staff During the last few days there have been some changes in the vB.org Staff. First of all Erwin has had to step down as administrator and webmaster of this site, as he doesn't have enough time anymore. We and especially myself will miss him in this position. But as every negative aspect has it's positive sides as well: Logician has been promoted to the new CoAdministrator of this site. Already taken over a lot of duties, he's been more than valueable for this site, and therfore it was the most logical step. Another bad news. Because of private issues, our Lady Moderator Amykhar has said a farewell to her Job as Mod. We'll keep her in best reminds and send her the best wishes for the future. She will still hold an inofficial position here, as we have decided this step together without problems. But as said before, every negative aspect has a positive as well: Due to increasing work on this site, and the lack of time and leaving Moderators, we have choosen three new Moderators joining our Staff: Rose which will replace Amy as the Lady Moderator here, and will take over the social influenced Forums like the lounge and vb.org feedback, Boofo who has always been helpful and tries to help to make this site a better place whenever possible and VeloCD who is as friendly and helpful as our other newcomers, and also can replace Logician in the codingsections. During the last two days, i'm getting a lot of emails, containing viruses, or the other way round, some are sending a mail at vbulletin.org claiming, we are infected. Most of the time those answers are to email accounts like john, anna, hacks, support or sometihng like this @vb.org. We want to inform you, that none of these account really exists, it's just someone manipulating the header, to claim they are someone at vbulletin.org. Also another thing: The ammount of automatic replies to subscription emails have dramatically increased. If you are protecting your Email account by some software to avoid spam or changing your email and autosending an "This is an old email addy, my new one is ...", please make sure, not to spam us in revenge. Change the softwaresettings to allow vbulletin.org emails, or do not activate the subscription system if you don't want to get emails. If those SPAM emails will increase further, we have to ban these emails from our server, which would mean, that you would get showing up as unlicensed. As Kier released vB3 RC1 tonight, i can say, everyone is allowed to release his codemodifications on vb.org now. NTLDR was the fastest of all an released his vBindex v3.0.0 already. Congratulations . So everyone else, happy modding!! As you can see we have done a great restructurization of the forums, we hope it's as intuitive as we think, so you won't have any problems with our new forumstructure.
