Basically, it is a piece of ingenious web coding that enables you to be alerted ( and to alert other toons) that there is an invasion of a certain type of cog happening in a district on the Toontown Servers. More information can be found by clicking the TIPS link on the left hand side Now if everyone who reads this news post went and signed up we would have a flawless network of people who, when the time comes can report an invasion, and we can all experience the benefits of double experience points. Posted By: Scrat - 04-15-2004 07:34 AM - Replies (3) Over time some members have been spending more attention on sigs adding color and small pics which is nice. Whats not so nice is when they get too long which reduces the readability of threads in which they appear. A reminder that the official policy on sigs places limits on length and size of all sigs and I have provided an excerpt below for reference. "Signature Lengths" - Users should be considerate of other users on the forums. Excessive lengths of signatures cause the flow of the threads to be disrupted. Signature lengths over 10 text lines will be removed from user's profiles. This also applies to graphical representation of signatures that are larger than 500 x 200 pixels in size. While we havent been overly strict removing sigs that creep a little over the limit those with 15, 20, or more lines should consider shaving them down to to around 10 lines. Those that dont may get a reminder from your local mod or admin and if after a reasonable time its still too long may find the sig "shaved" or the member accounts sig privledges removed.
