Duke Nukem 3D ported to Pocket PC! Thanks to Guizmox for sending in news that Duke Nukem 3D has been successfully ported to Smartphone and Pocket PC. While there are a few teething problems with the controls, there are already a few workarounds to solve the problem. The developer is currently working on fixing a couple of graphical issues and implementing a proper control method. You can find support and more information (including download links!) in the Comments Thread for this news item. .: Full details and discussion... :. DukeWiki launched! By now, many of you have probably tried out the fantastic Duke3D port by roozbeh. And many of you have probably had troubles with it. And, doing the natural thing, you probably went to the thread, to find it's more chaotic than the Big Bang. So, after doing some thinking on how to sort out this mess, I've set up the DukeWiki, basically an open source webpage. Right now, there's nothing on it, but this is where you all come in. Anyone can edit a page and add/modify information as needed - just hit edit at the top of the page. I've posted a few sections on the front page, however they're far from permanent. By simply referencing a word in the tags, it's automagically created, so feel free to go crazy with sub-sections and links - just keep it relevant, we'll be watching closely for inappropriate submissions! Long winded explanation aside, this is a community project, so feel free to contribute at anytime! I've closed the massive thread, move all your findings in the new DukeWiki. If you have any questions or comments, toss them in the thread below. .: 6th October 2004, 21:52 (sponge) :: Site updates :: Comment on this news item (0) :: Interest rating: Not enough votes yet! :.
