Comments: Aside from the nutjobs (including mods) it isn't a bad place for news of current events. The owner, Dennis Olson, is a y2k doomer throwback still waiting for the world to end. It's become more and more violent this past year with ongoing verbal threats against the government, illegals, CEOs, you name it. I've wondered why homeland security hasn't shut it down. Too many nutcases for my taste.

Comments: Dennis Olson runs this board with an iron fist. Recently many usenet posting made by Dennis to Usenet have surfaced where he trolling for gay sex. His wife has left him, he is being sued, he admits to voting in two states for the same presidential election, (which is being investigated by the authorities) and he is a gun nut. He brags of having enough ammo to start world war 3, and has 200 gallons of gasoline stored in drums at his house. Homeland security and .gov should take a good long look at this asshole. The mods on his site are constantly trying to cover up the illegal actions and statements made by the grossly obese owner. He has threatened to kill quite a few people thorugh his internet postings. He is a freak.

Comments: What once was a decent forum, seven years ago, has degenerated into a miasma of self-pity, trolling for fundage, and pleas for help on how to plug in electrical devices. The moderators have all the loyalty of the Nazi SS to Hitler, and are equally ruthless in stomping out dissent. Constant begging on the part of the 'Chief Curmudgeon', which I think must also have some sort of gay double meaning, illustrates the sheer level of dimness on the part of the membership. Web forums do not cost thousands upon thousands of dollars per year to run. No one in their right minds uses a guy running a server farm from his garage to operate a business....unless it's also running a porno site at the same time. No financial accountability...or discussion of finances, is allowed. The mods will stomp you flat, boot your ass out, and decry you as the evil instigator of attacks on Mein Fuhrer. There are lots of better places to waste your time. This has nothing to do with 'survival' skills any more, it's a co-dependent orgy.
