The fear of flying affects more people than is generally realized. The purpose of this board is to share experiences and to talk about what works and what does not. Most importantly, this board will help you understand that you are not alone with your fear!! The founder (ME!--Passenger Mark) quit flying in April 2002 after having repeated anxiety attacks on aircraft. I once even had the aircraft return to the gate so that I could be let off! After that, I began seeking solutions that would lead to the ability to fly again. After much work and help from friends, I took my first new flight in December, 2003. From December, 2003 through August, 2004--eight months--I have accomplished 21 flights including a roundtrip to and from England! It can be done!
