Many Mormon-related forums often evince overt bias, despite claims of openness. Some forums, sponsored by Mormon antagonists, have censored LDS participants while others, hosted by LDS apologists, have prohibited non-Mormon participation. As an antidote, ZLMB principals (administrators and forum moderators) are selected from across the spectrum of belief, including LDS, non-LDS, and former-LDS.
